This is the easiest way to install stomper. No jailbreak required. It only requires patience in reading the tutorial.
To install Stomper on your device, you need to import the VPN profile to OpenVPN Connect and install the certificate to your iOS system. After you have completed these steps, the installation is done and you can start using Stomper.
Each stomper package is always given a different certificate file. For this tutorial, I will provide an example of installing certificates on a Stomper Free Plan.
Download “Free Stomper” and extract the zip file. Inside the zip file is a certificate folder. You will find 2 certificate files for different devices, Android and iOS. Choose iOS, you don’t need android certifiacte.
Email the stomper certificate (e.g. ios-certificate-stomper-xxx.pem) to yourself via the built-in Mail application (don’t use the Gmail app). Next, open the email on your phone, and click the attachment. Stomper iOS certificate downloaded.
Once the certificate is downloaded, please go to iOS Settings. A new menu will appear: Profile Downloaded. Click on the menu, there will be a profile install option on the top right. Enter your passcode to continue.
A warning sign will appear. Select the install menu at the top right. Then click install again at the bottom. Now the mitmproxy label is green and says verified.
Go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings.
Turn on mitmproxy under “Enable full trust for root certificates”.
Apple has introduced a change to how root certificates manually installed via profiles are trusted, requiring an additional explicit action.
Users on iOS 10.3 (and later) who install custom profiles will need to dive into the settings menu to manually turn on trust for any included root certificates. Because it’s rather easy to install a profile, this is an important security measure that makes it slightly harder for a user to inadvertently trust a new root which could then issue device-trusted certificates for any website or service.
Stomper VPN service is very secure. All of your data is encrypted between your device and our servers as it travels over the Internet through the VPN tunnel.
To obtain the OpenVPN Connect app, go to the Apple App Store on your Apple iOS device. Look for the words “openvpn connect” and the application will show up in the search results. You can install it from there. Once installed an icon will be placed on your home screen where you can find the app.
- After the installation process is complete, go to Home Screen and Open Files app.
- Find the Stomper File that you downloaded earlier.
- Select the .ovpn file and Share to OpenVPN Applications.
- Add that profile to OpenVPN app.
- Before you add, checkmark “Connect after import”.
- Choose Allow and enter your iPhone passcode.
- Connect and done!
Okay now open Summoners War and make sure everything is running smoothly.
